Welcome to Stalk and Stem! I am so glad you are here! We are Chelsea and Jordan Zimmer, owners of this small scale flower farm located in Delaware, Ohio. We’re parents to two Shih Tzus, Patrick Stewart and Lucy Olivia. When we lost Patrick in the spring of 2026, we added peonies to our logo in his honor. They were his favorite bloom to bury his little nose in, and now they’re part of Stalk & Stem forever.

Growing up, I saw my family nurture our Ohio Century Farm. Now, as a 5th generation farmer I'm proud to continue that legacy, cultivating beautiful things from the same land. This business started when my gardening hobby quickly spiraled out of control into a huge passion. A small bed of cut flowers for myself, friends, and family was all it took for me to quickly fall in love with growing, harvesting, and arranging flower bouquets. ​Add in a supportive husband, and Stalk & Stem was born!

Our goal is to provide you with unique and fresh, locally grown flowers at markets and through subscriptions on the land my great- great- grandparents harvested. I can't wait to create something beautiful for you!
